North of it are compartments 6 to 10 and part of 1, and south of it 2 to 5 and part of 1. +Orang Bangi panggil tempat ini 'simpang poris' (asal daripada perkataan forest) letaknya di simpang tiga jalan Kajang - Bangi - Dengkil. \\

+Merupakan Forest Checking Station dan juga rumah kuarters untuk Forest Guard (Renjer Hutan) dan Forester (Pegawai Perhutanan) bagi mengawas juga memeriksa permit, hasil hutan seperti kayu balak, getah taban, rotan, terutama hasil dari Hutan Simpan Bangi (1906) dan Hutan Simpan Bukit Tunggul (1910). \\

+Bangunan ini didirikan sekitar tahun 1920 setelah Kerajaan British menggazet Bangi Forest Reserve pada tahun 1906 dan tidak lagi beroperasi apabila hutan ini dinyahwartakan untuk membangunkan tapak kampus induk UKM pada awal tahun 1970 sebelum kemudiannya diwartakan sebagai Hutan Simpan Kekal UKM pada 1993. Bangunan ini kemudiannya diruntuhkan sepenuhnya apabila pembangunan Malaysia Genome dan Vaccine Institute mula dibangunkan pada sekitar tahun 2008. \\
